The MLA exhibit hall provides a place where attendees can browse the latest publications at amazing discounts, visit with a publisher, catch a book signing or interview with a favorite author, discover a new technology, explore a variety of services, and connect with colleagues and friends.

2024 Exhibit Hall Happenings:
Exhibit Hall Event Listing. Check the Exhibit Hall Events in the online program and MLA 2024 app for updated exhibit hall event listings.
Free Coffee and Tea. 5–6 January, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and while supplies last.
Gift Cards to Reading Terminal Market. Make a purchase in the exhibit hall, then visit the exhibitor information booth with your purchase and receipt to receive a Reading Terminal Market gift certificate while supplies last.

Book Signing with Amitav Ghosh. Join Amitav Ghosh at the University of Chicago Press booth (200–204) on 5 January following his session (session 272), where he will be signing copies of his books The Nutmeg’s Curse and The Great Derangement from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m.
MLA PubCentral Reception. Join us on Friday, 5 January, at 4:30 p.m. for the MLA International Bibliography’s annual wine and cheese reception.

Exhibit Hall Passes
Complimentary Guest Passes
Convention registrants are welcome to accompany guests through the exhibit hall with the appropriate guest pass. These passes provide access to the exhibit hall only (not to MLA sessions), and the guest must be accompanied by a convention registrant. Guest passes are available at the Exhibitor Information desk.
$10 Day Passes
Persons who wish to visit the exhibit hall and who are not registered for the convention or accompanied by a convention registrant may purchase a one-day pass into the exhibit hall only (not to MLA sessions). Day passes are $10 per day and can be purchased at the Exhibitor Information desk.
