Strategic Partnership Network Associate (Temporary)
The Modern Language Association (MLA) is seeking a part-time associate to provide support for its new Strategic Partnership Network (SPN) through May 2024. The SPN brings together institutions with a proven commitment to the humanities to develop critical resources for promoting the value of humanities study and building a sustainable foundation for the future. Reporting to the director of outreach and collaborating with staff members across the association, the SPN associate will work to increase awareness of SPN benefits by member institutions, track benefit usage, and contribute to engagement strategy discussions.
Responsibilities
- Draft and send correspondence to SPN constituents
- Call departments and programs at SPN institutions to encourage benefit usage
- Track benefit usage through association CRM, form responses, and other metrics
- Analyze engagement using Excel, Looker Studio, and other data tools
- Update documentation about the network on the MLA website and in welcome materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a humanities field; graduate work in a humanities field desirable
- Excellent communication skills and judgement
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience with email design platforms preferred
- Experience with customer relations management systems a plus
This is a part-time, remote position. You must be able to work legally in the United States. The SPN associate will work 10 to 15 hours per week at an hourly rate of $27 per hour.
